Sporty Mii FR revealed by Seat

Seat is bidding to steal the marketing initiative from corporate relatives Skoda and VW after revealing a Mii FR show car.

Unveiled in Austria, the sporty version of the Mii is widely expected to pave the way for a production version of the car, which goes head-to-head with sister models, the Skoda Citigo and VW Up.

At this stage, the additions to the Mii are simply cosmetic, but they include a tornado red paint job, black 16in alloys, an additional spoiler, and black highlights on the wheelarches.

The interior of the Mii has also been tweaked on the FR showcar, including  distinctive red FR lettering on the sports seats, and additional red and black elements in the cabin.

Expect Seat to launch additional versions of the Mii in the UK next year as it takes the internal battle to Skoda and VW.
