Suzuki gives Splash a facelift

Suzuki has given its Splash a mild midlife facelift. New bumpers front and back, a different bonnet and grille design and a refreshed interior are the main improvements.

The interior also includes a new colour scheme, plus a piano black-coloured centre console.

The Japanese manufacturer has also extended its VAT-free offer across the revised range. The entry-level 1.0-litre SZ2 starts at £7777.

There are two petrol versions on offer: the 68bhp 1.0-litre three-cylinder, and the 93bhp, 1.2-litre four-cylinder. Fuel figures, according to Suzuki, are 60.1mpg and 55.4mpg respectively. CO2 figures are 109g/km and 118g/km CO2.

There are also three trim grades – SZ2, SZ3 and SZ4. Sandard equipment across the range includes steering-wheel mounted audio controls, MP3 player, a leather-trimmed steering wheel and electric front windows.

Step up to the SZ3 and you also get aircon, while SZ4 models feature ESP, 15in alloys, tinted windows and keyless entry and start.
