New Jazz to spawn Honda crossover

Honda is planning a compact crossover version of its next generation Jazz. Targeted primarily at the European and US markets. Honda insiders suggest around 400,000 units of the new model could be built.

With the Japanese manufacturer giving its regions greater autonomy to engineer the Jazz outside of Japan to suit local markets, it’s understood the new crossover would be built at Honda’s plant in Swindon.

Though we will have to wait until around 2015 for the new Jazz, plans are in place for the new crossover to evolve from the model.
