Mazda has introduced a new ‘sportier’ version of its Mazda3 and seven-seat Mazda5 models. The new Venture Edition adds £500 and £630 for Mazda3 and Mazda5 models respectively.
But for that you get an awful lot of extra kit. in addition to the standard TS2 specification, the ‘Venture’ adds front fog lights, a ‘sports’ grille, side skirts, a rear spoiler and tinted windows.
There’s also 17in gun metal alloys on the Mazda3, and 16in versions on the 5.
Inside the ‘Venture’, there’s sat-nav, Bluetooth, zircon and cruise control. And while the Mazda 5 gets a Piano Black centre console, the 3 gets heated sports seats.
The Mazda3 Venture Edition comes with the choice of a 104bhp 1.6-litre petrol and 114bhp 1.6 diesel, with prices starting at £17,495 and £18,995 respectively.
Mazda5 Venture prices start at £19,995 for the entry-level 148bhp 2.0 petrol, with the cheapest 114bhp 1.6 diesel £21,290.
