Hankook delivers new online ‘Label Finder’

In the build-up to the introduction of new tyre labelling guidelines — which come into effect from across the EU from November 1, 2012 — premium tyre manufacturer Hankook has tested its entire range of products covered by the testing methods as laid out by the EU governmental body responsible for this legislation.

The results for wet grip, energy efficiency and external noise emission are, according to Hankook, excellent.

Hankook also now offers a new service to its website visitors:  a “Label Finder“. The online tool offers orientation and help to both consumers and dealers, and provides an overview of the label results of each individual Hankook tyre model.

The label finder also allows users to compare different tyre models and sizes with regard to wet braking and fuel efficiency.

“Our products have always been designed with a special focus on safety and the environment, long before the emergence of the new EU guidelines,” Jin-Wook Choi, President and CEO of the European division of Hankook Tire, explained.

“As a result of our continuous investments in research, about 50% of all sizes of our current passenger car tyre series Ventus S1 evo², Ventus Prime² and Kinergy Eco already achieve top label certifications of CA or BB for the replacement market segment, with more to come.

“Purchasers of tyres benefit from our Label Finder because it offers more transparency, since here the individual tyre models and sizes are easier to compare amongst each other in terms of safety, operating efficiency and ecology.”

Blackcircles.com stocks a comprehensive range of Hankook tyres, in addition to those from all the other leading tyre manufacturers, all at the most competitive prices. Plus we can arrange for you to have your car’s new tyres fitted at a time and location best-suited to you.
