Jaguar has ‘leaked’ more ‘official’ photos of its production-spec F-type which will undoubtedly be the star of the Paris Motor Show.
The new pics show the F-Type from the rear, for the first time, and and also give us a glimpse of the car’s interior.
The cabin boasts heavily sculpted sports seats: the dashboard appears to be covered in leather, and there’s an alcantara steering wheel. Jaguar’s infotainment system will also be standard in the F-Type.
The new images also shed some light on the car’s transmission. Original reports hinted the F-Type would feature an eight-speed automatic gearbox.
However the new photos clearly indicate a manual-look gearshift, rather than the rotary dial found in other Jaguar Land Rover models.
At the sleek-looking rear of the car, the F-Type gets centrally-positioned twin rear exhausts, plus more angular lights than the Jaguar XK.
The model shown in the new pix is the ‘S’ variant, which will initially be the range-topper initially before the appearance of the ‘R’ badged performance version.
