Porsche’s new flagship Cayenne Turbo S will break through the 100 grand barrier when it goes on sale across the UK next year.
The 550bhp 4.8-litre twin-turbo V8 model will set you back £107,460: and, despite having a 10% boost in power, it’ll return the same economy as the Turbo model, 24.6mpg.
With first deliveries set for next January, the Turbo S has a number of visual styling cues which set it apart from the ‘standard’ Turbo.
The new range-topped gets air inlet grilles, headlight housings and mirrors, which are painted in high-gloss black. New leather interior trim packages are also available.
The Turbo S also comes with 21in ‘911 Turbo II’ alloys fitted with exclusive-coloured Porsche centre badges.
Not surprisingly the Turbo S, at 4.5secs, is 0.2s faster than the Turbo over the 0-62mph sprint. It also has a 2mph higher top speed, at 175mph.
Air suspension and active PASM damping control, Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC), which reduces the roll angle in curves, are all standard.
Just for good measure, Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus) is also a standard. PTV Plus torque vectoring on the rear wheels with an electronically controlled rear differential lock to improve traction.
