Two years before it even enters UK showrooms, potential buyers have been making £5000 deposits at Honda dealerships to ensure they get their hands on the first new NSX models.
Honda had planned to open a formal deposit system for the car later this year, but such has been the desire from eager owners that the company has already received 25 deposits.
Due to be built in the States, the new NSX will use a mid-mounted V6 coupled to an electric motor to drive the rear wheels: electric motors will drive the front wheels to give four-wheel drive. Honda’s Super Active All-Wheel Drive system will also be fitted.
