Hankook agreed a new three season global sponsorship deal with Spanish football giants, Real Madrid.
The details of the sponsorship means that the advertising of the tyre manufacturers brand will not just be limited to Primera División matches at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium – Real Madrid’s home ground – it will also include Copa del Rey fixtures and any international home and away matches.
A spokesperson for Hankook was quoted on Tyrepress.com saying:
“[this new deal] signifies the shared spirit of winning innovation in premium brand equity, manifested in both Real Madrid’s dominating global football success and Hankook Tire’s proven technological excellence and premium products.
“Both parties promote forward looking investments, innovative strategies and consistent efforts for customers and fans. Hankook will aim to increase brand recognition and expand its global footprint as a result of Real Madrid’s worldwide popularity. Hankook and Real also stressed their “shared philosophy” in partnership, characterising this as “winning through innovation”.
