This week Kumho was presented with two 2016 iF Design Awards – as part of the ‘transport device’ category – for their Kumho Ecsta HS81 and Kumho Solus HA31 tyre models.
First launched in 1953, the iF Design Award is run by the German non-profit iF International Forum Design. To gain the iF label is widely accepted as a recognition of design excellence.
Optimised for premium luxury passenger cars, the Kumho Ecsta HS81, which has primarily been developed for the Asian market, features: low noise and low rolling resistance as well high levels of wet grip and ride comfort.
The Ecsta HS81 tread pattern has been designed to deliver lower noise levels and at the same time improving the braking distances of the tyres – enhancing driving safety.
The Kumho Solus HA31 is an all-weather performance tyre, featuring a directional tread pattern for improved driving performance.
